Tax Credit Impact
Beginning July 1, 2022, a new law allows for greater benefits to donors of maternity homes in Missouri. All donations $100 and greater automatically qualify for 70% State Tax Credit.
A tax credit is much different and more beneficial than a tax deduction. A tax credit is applied directly to what you owe the state. A tax credit is money staying in your pocket at tax time. Additionally, the maternity home state tax credits are unlimited so we will never run out. Thank you, State of Missouri!
